Ensure that the correct Print Quality Mode is being used. Prints made in Fast Color Mode will appear somewhat faded in comparison to the higher quality modes. The Darken Black Text feature in the printer driver will improve the text quality in Fast Color Mode.

If transparencies appear faded, ensure that the transparencies are being loaded into the standard tray and that the Tray Switch is set to the Transparency position.
